LUX is an award-winning, full-service catering and events company serving the beautiful state of Utah. We are a family of designers, mavens, and epicureans with a lifetime of combined expertise. Founded in 1995, LUX is built on passion and an unwavering commitment to excellence. We are obsessed with innovation and pushing boundaries.

As part of our commitment to constantly drive for growth and further success, for both LUX and our clients, we maintain active memberships with many industry associations. Some of those memberships include the International Caterers Association, the National Association for Catering and Events, and most recently the Leading Caterers of America. In 2018, LUX was approached by this elite group of catering and event professionals. The LCA Membership is by invitation only and is a peer-evaluated membership group for the top caterers in the United States and Canada. It is currently comprised of over 50 active participants. LCA members adhere to the highest standards of excellence in catering and hospitality.

LUX is a certified B Corporation. What does this mean? Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. The B Corp community is a group of leaders and drive a global movement of people using business as a force for good – working toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high quality jobs with dignity and purpose.

LUX is dedicated to our community and gives back a portion of our total annual revenue through charitable donations, event sponsorships, and other event resources. We spread love and goodwill throughout the community by regularly donating food and produce to local shelters, youth outreach programs, and other charitable efforts. Rather than see our excess food turn to waste, we want to provide warm and filling meals for Utah’s homeless and others in need of a helping hand. Three to five times a week, a member of a local rescue operation comes to our facility to take our leftover food from events to those in need.

LUX culture is centered around love, respect, inclusivity, acceptance, and friendship. Several members of our team serve on the boards of local community organizations as well as charitable organizations – we push every day to be a larger part of our community, and continue to make a difference. Our team regularly joins panel discussions, attends workshops, and speaks at local universities and conferences to continue to educate our peers and other businesses regarding LUX practices, how we operate, and what has driven our success.
