Emfest
EMFEST was not a birthday party. It was a full-scale production. Hosted at the Grand Building in Salt Lake City for 300 guests, the evening transformed a milestone celebration into an immersive festival experience layered with lounges, neon moments, custom branding, and multi-genre culinary stations. Planning and design: @kenzieevents.
The Menu
The culinary direction was built like a music festival lineup. Mother Earth stations featured açaí bowls, fresh juice shots, farmers’ market vegetables, and charcuterie cones, while Aries Spirits & Bites introduced Sushi on Fire, flatbreads from wood-fired ovens, and a street taco bar with quesabirria and gochujang carnitas. Guests moved continuously between experiences, creating energy instead of traditional dinner pacing.
The Bar
The bar program was theatrical and fully customized. Signature cocktails like Phoenix Rising and The EMSKKI were paired with glitter, flamed citrus, cocktail toppers featuring the birthday host’s face, and even a bubble gun for dramatic effect. Custom water bottles, branded coffee sleeves, neon signage, and vinyl-wrapped stations reinforced the identity of the event at every turn.
The Style
Multiple immersive lounges, including Mother Earth and Aries, were layered with hedge walls, velvet seating, LED-lit furniture, stanchions, chandeliers, and custom signage. The result felt like stepping into a private festival, equal parts nightclub, red carpet, and curated culinary playground. Planning and design: @kenzieevents
