For Visit Salt Lake’s first Influencer Summit, fifty leading voices in travel, hospitality, and tourism gathered at The Orangerie at Red Butte Garden before heading into the mountains for an afternoon of guided adventure. LUX was commissioned to design and produce breakfast and lunch service that translated Utah’s landscape into a culinary and visual experience.

The Menu

Every menu element was rooted in local product and presented as storytelling rather than sourcing. Breakfast and lunch unfolded through curated market stands featuring Eva’s Bakery bread, Park City Creamery cheeses, Creminelli meats, Slide Ridge Honey, Snuck Farms greens, and Redmond seasonings. Ingredients were labeled, layered, and intentionally displayed so guests could see the makers shaping Utah’s food culture. The result felt fresh, modern, and unmistakably regional.

Refresh, Refined

Hydration was treated as a central feature, not an afterthought. Inside the Orangerie, tall glass vessels held infused waters including chlorophyll and activated charcoal, garnished with lavender, ginger, eucalyptus, and citrus. On the terrace, Millcreek Coffee transitioned into three aguas frescas served in hammered copper dispensers with clay cantarito cups. The presentation photographed beautifully while maintaining a clean, wellness-forward tone.

The Design

The room was designed in a warm palette inspired by Utah’s alpine greens, desert clay, and sandstone neutrals. Florals and planters from LUX Floral & Design echoed the state’s varied terrain through structured greens, succulents, and desert textures. Market-style stations framed the space and encouraged natural movement, allowing guests to explore, photograph, and circulate with ease. Breakfast transitioned seamlessly into lunch without disrupting the visual language of the room, reinforcing rhythm and continuity throughout the day.
