NACE Charcuterie Event
For NACE Salt Lake’s February chapter event, LUX hosted an interactive charcuterie board class designed to celebrate creativity, community, and craft. Seventy-five industry professionals gathered in the Commercial Club ballroom to build their own boards with Executive Chef Hunter, transforming a networking event into a hands-on culinary experience.
Culinary Immersion
Guests built individual artisan charcuterie boards featuring imported and domestic cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruit, artisan breads, and fresh honey served in take-home jars with dippers. Custom aprons and curated ingredient apothecaries at each table elevated the class from demonstration to immersive workshop. The format encouraged conversation, collaboration, and genuine engagement around the table.
Caviar Moments
Following the class, the energy shifted into a member-only after party anchored by a bold Caviar Experience Bar titled “Bumps, Bling, or Blini.” Chef-served Ostera caviar and plant-based Zeroe alternatives were paired with vodka crème fraîche and lemon, presented three ways: traditional blini, classic mother-of-pearl bump, and mini baked potato finished with gold leaf. The activation brought drama, indulgence, and a playful wink to the evening.
Styled Celebration
Our bar team introduced a Citrus Serenade signature cocktail built with local Sugarhouse Distillery vodka and St. Germain, paired with a bright Cucumber Basil Cooler mocktail that kept the energy fresh and layered. Champagne service was reserved for the member-only after party, displayed on a styled shelf and poured as guests arrived, creating a subtle shift in tone from workshop to celebration.
LUX Floral & Design anchored the space with brushed gold vessels, pin cushion protea, hyacinth, and suspended spring installations that framed the caviar bar and cocktail moments. The result felt playful, polished, and intentionally composed, echoing the spirit of the evening without overpowering it.
