Hosted at Abravanel Hall for 1,000 guests, the Utah Symphony Fundraising Gala was a multi-layered evening that paired a VIP dinner with a large-scale lobby reception and after party. Designed as a celebration of place, the event highlighted distinct Utah regions through cuisine, lounge design, and immersive styling.

Regionally Inspired Menu

The VIP dinner featured four regionally inspired stations titled Park City, Salt Lake City, Countryside, and Southern Desert. Guests moved between Swiss fondue, tri-color cauliflower flatbreads, butter lettuce boats with smoked tri-tip, and mole spiced pork tenderloin with prickly pear salsa. A Utah’s Own grazing table showcased artisan cheeses and cured meats from local makers, reinforcing a sense of pride in place.

The Style

Each region was styled as its own environment inside the VIP tent. Desert lounges layered sierra drift linens and warm gold accents, Park City featured mink tones and modern acrylic chairs, Salt Lake City leaned into meteor gray and contemporary silhouettes, and Countryside embraced rustic wood tables and crossback chairs. The thoughtful pairing of linens, furniture, and layout made the culinary journey feel fully immersive.

VIPS and 1000+ Guests

Beyond the VIP tent, the lobby reception welcomed thousands of additional guests with truffle herb popcorn, multiple bar locations, and streamlined water stations to maintain seamless flow. After the performance, the energy shifted into an after party with dessert buffets, spritzer stations, and lounge areas that encouraged conversation and celebration. The result was a gala that felt expansive yet intentionally choreographed, honoring the Symphony with both scale and sophistication.
