Erika and Daney’s wedding took place at the Natural History Museum of Utah, with a ceremony on the Land Terrace overlooking the valley and dinner inside the Canyon Room for 175 guests. The setting blended architectural lines with open sky, creating a celebration that felt modern, grounded, and distinctly Utah.

The Menu

Dinner featured three immersive stations designed to move guests through the Canyon Room. A chef-tossed pasta station with a flaming wheel of Parmigiano offered tortellini, gnocchi, and pappardelle with custom finishes, while a street taco bar and a carved churrasco station added energy and interaction. The layout encouraged guests to circulate, explore, and experience the space in layers.

The Bar

The bar program centered on a Blackberry Moscow Mule served in copper mugs, layered with local Five Wives vodka and fresh blackberry purée. Moscow mule mugs, brushed copper flatware, heirloom charcoal plates, and Slide Ridge honey mint limeade tied the beverage and table experience together with warmth and cohesion.

The Style

LUX Floral & Design created an open circle altar installation filled with hydrangea, amnesia and quicksand roses, tulips, delphinium, and natural grasses, then repurposed elements into the Canyon Room for continuity. Tall steel epic stands, hammered copper bowls, grapevine roots, and layers of votives added movement and glow against the museum’s clean architecture. The result felt elevated yet organic, honoring both the couple and the setting.
