Hosted at the Natural History Museum of Utah for 160 guests, this Kirkland & Ellis holiday celebration transformed the space into a refined winter landscape. From the moment guests arrived, the evening balanced elevated hospitality with immersive seasonal design.

Seasonal Spread

The reception featured layered holiday stations that felt abundant and interactive. A chef carved prime rib, smoked salmon, and brown sugar glazed ham anchored the room, complemented by charred cauliflower heads with pomegranate gremolata and a gourmet mashed potato bar built to order. The winter pastry table added a final touch with gingerbread macarons, peppermint mocha donuts, and chocolate pot de crème.

COZY COCKTAILS

The bar program carried the winter theme forward with thoughtful detail. Signature cocktails like the Winter Cosmo and Long Winter Nap were served alongside a Holiday Mule mocktail, ensuring every guest had a celebratory option. Outside, a clear bubble tent housed a gourmet hot chocolate bar, creating a cozy focal point that drew guests into the crisp December air.

Winter Installation

Design and production elevated the evening into a true winter installation. Snow animations were projected throughout the room, stairways glowed in cool white and blue uplighting, and the exterior featured a jumbo Kirkland logo projection. Birch stands, flocked trees reaching up to twelve feet, silver dipped florals, and frosted votives layered the space with texture and light, creating a holiday atmosphere that felt polished, immersive, and distinctly LUX.
