Welcome to the LUX Team – Sonia!

As has been the story for the past several years, LUX Catering & Events has been growing exponentially, almost faster than we can keep up with! A part of growing is welcoming on new team members to our crew! We’ve recently welcomed several new editions to the LUX family and we want to introduce them to you all!

First is our new bakery manager, Sonia Strong!

Sonia comes to LUX Catering & Events with almost 11 years experience as a pastry chef. Sonia originally worked with a good friend of LUX and when she found out we were hiring a Bakery Manager, she jumped at the chance and came to use from her previous job at Harmon’s bakery.

Sonia’s favorite part of working in the bakery is getting creative and making things pretty. Whether it’s a show stopping dessert or our everyday bread, our Standard of Excellence in our presentation is made secure thanks to Sonia’s eye for detail and staging.

 

Sonia believes her biggest strengths that she brings to working in the bakery are her excellent organization and time management. Her favorite thing about her job is the variety of our menu and our daily requirements which means that she gets to do something different every day!
