The Event Staff provides excellent and professional service to guests, ensuring an optimal event experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly set up dining area according to internal standards and deadlines
- Interact and communicate professionally with guests
- Familiarize self with menu to understand dietary restrictions, food allergies and any special requests
- Serve food to guests through the following methods: Passed Service, Buffet Style Plated service and Action stations
- Breakdown and clean event space, including consolidating products and loading on truck
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements, Education, and Experience:
- No previous experience required; job experience or related industry experience a plus
- Must obtain a Utah Food Handler Permit and if 21 years of age a Utah Alcohol Servers Certificate
- Ability to read, write and speak English professionally
- Current driver's license without any outstanding citations preferable
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and alert leadership when needed
- Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact with diverse groups and foster a cooperative work environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- This Job requires a high level of physicality. Must be able to consistently move for up to 8 hours at a time
- Regularly required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 25-60 lbs
