Event Producer

LUX is looking for an energetic, passionate, and results-driven Event Producer to join our award-winning team. For over 25 years, LUX has been at the forefront of creating luxury events that go beyond catering—we facilitate the entire production, from design and florals to rentals and staging. Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including space setup, scheduling, equipment rentals, tastings, menus, invoicing, and theme development, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilize proactive sales strategies to upsell design, florals, and production services for events.
  • Act as the primary liaison for logistical questions between production teams and clients, ensuring seamless communication and prompt email responses.
  • Develop comprehensive event plans that cover menu design, florals, lighting, staging, and room layouts tailored to client visions.
  • Conduct site visits with clients and design team members to ensure flawless execution.
  • Oversee vendors, partners, sponsors, and exhibitors during event setup and execution, ensuring all details meet LUX's high standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues with clients, vendors, or partners efficiently and professionally.
  • Monitor event budgets strictly, track expenses, ensure profit margins are met, and review vendor invoices for accuracy.
  • Efficiently handle multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Read and facilitate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with precision to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Responsible for training new Event Producers.
  • Will work closely with the Director of Sales to ensure all Producers are meeting job expectations to include Quarterly peer review/check-in with Production Teams and Concierge to ensure quality of Event Producer duties.
  • A Senior Event Producer will oversee all large-scale event production

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a senior event production role or equivalent experience in the events industry. a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in event design, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to bring creative concepts to life. 
  • Background in hospitality, ensuring top-tier service and seamless client interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of event etiquette, table setup, food, wine, and spirits.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and event management software (e.g., Caterease).
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain client relationships, as well as collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Skilled in interpreting business reports, managing budgets, and calculating key financial metrics.
  • A polished demeanor, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in professional English, both written and verbal.
