The LUX Sales Team collaborates closely with our Event Production team to create unforgettable corporate, social, and wedding events. This role thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, requiring a passion for exceptional food and the dynamic energy of the special events industry. Success in this position hinges on the ability to build and maintain solid, lasting relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
● Develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
● Handle incoming calls from individuals, corporations, and associations for various events, including meetings, conventions, parties, festivals, and company events.
● Drive new business development, building relationships with new clients and venues.
● Collaborate with design and production teams to discuss client goals and objectives.
● Support the Event Production team in creating customized client proposals.
● Secure event contracts and retainer payments before transitioning events to production teams.
● Serve as a point of contact throughout the entire sales cycle, ensuring a seamless client experience.
● Manage timelines, keep clients informed of upcoming deadlines, and collect required payments on schedule.

Qualifications
● Education & Experience: Two or more years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related industry.
● Tech: Proficiency with modern business software and tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
● Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships in a collaborative environment.
● Communication Skills: Strong ability to interpret business reports and technical documents. Must excel in written and verbal communication, capable of presenting information clearly and responding effectively to inquiries from team members, clients, and the general public.
● Analytical Skills: Proficient in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
● Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
● Certifications & Licenses: Must have documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States, reliable and insured transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Additional Requirements
● Lead the coordination of at least $2,000,000 in event sales per year.
● Anticipate client needs, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
● Be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
