Chase Mill is the oldest standing industrial building in the state of Utah. But that isn’t its only draw! Surrounded by eight acres of expansive, perfectly groomed grounds, there is no shortage of perfect green space for events of all kinds. They also have an outdoor stone amphitheater that is ideal for ceremonies, presentations or shows. A perfect welding of old and new as one—think of outdoor weddings, community fairs and festivals and company team building days. The list goes on!
Garden Place at This is the Place

The Garden Place at Heritage Park boasts a cozy mountain lodge feel, surrounded by the majestic Twin Peaks mountains. The interior features a sky-high ceiling with exposed wood beams, a stately floor-to-ceiling handcrafted stone fireplace, as well as plenty of windows that allow the natural light to shine in on your event. It exudes a cozy mountain lodge vibe that’s equally perfect for corporate retreats or rustic romantic wedding celebrations. The space can accommodate 350 inside for dinner, and up to 500 with concert theater-style seating. The stunning outdoor patio also allows for dinner on the patio for up to 200 guests under the stars. The patio that can easily be tented for a dinner, launch party, gala and so much more.
Gallivan Center

Gallivan Center has been a hot spot for weddings and conventions for decades due to its multi-functional and extensive event space. It’s a hub for gathering, including a grassy amphitheater, art-centric plazas featuring local installations and even an ice rink that can be rented for private events. Natural History Museum of Utah

Perhaps one of the most iconic outdoor event venues in Salt Lake City is the Natural History Museum of Utah. Literally built into the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, the venue is located in the Rio Tinto Center, which features a building crafted with locally mined copper. The entire space celebrates this natural oasis that dates back millions of years, covering the changes the land has seen then to now. While the capacity for the Canyon Terrace with outdoor space is 340, a buyout of the museum (which has natural features throughout the interior) can accommodate 1,500+ guests.
Orangerie at Red Butte Gardens

One of the most unique spaces at Red Butte Gardens is the lush indoor oasis, The Orangerie. This whimsical indoor space features magical garden vibes with exotic plant life and fragrant citrus trees decorating the interior for true alfresco vibes, without the threat of weather issues. The floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a glass ceiling overhead, allow the nature that surrounds you to extend the venue’s idyllic locale with sprawling mountain and valley views that go for miles. All that said, it is the perfect venue to hold events from weddings to corporate soirees all year! The Orangerie can hold 150 guests seated, 400 reception-style or 180 theater-style.
Thomas S. Monson Center

The newly refurbished Thomas S. Monson Center, formerly known as the Wall Mansion, is located in the elegant Salt Lake Avenues close to downtown. This beautiful historic building offers a variety of large and small rooms perfect for Weddings, Corporate Events or any other gathering with a collection of special touches unique to its construction include beautiful wood, antique windows, and more. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are available. Formal seating for 80; reception style for 300.
Twenty & Creek

For a truly unique event venue right outside Salt Lake City, you have to visit Wadley Farms. Located in Lindon, Utah, the farm sits on 23 acres of lavish gardens, vineyards and orchards and is both a working farm and event venue. With three historic buildings, including a magnificently unique castle, this venue is perfect for receptions indoor and outdoor any time of the year. The Wild Oak
